The neckloop plugs into a receiver's earphone jack to provide a magnetic signal that can be picked up by a hearing aid equipped with a telecoil (t-switch). It is worn like a lanyard. It is suitable for a person with moderate to severe hearing loss.
Integrated safety breakaway device. In the event the neckloop cord becomes entangled with a object in motion, the breakaway device will disconnect the neckloop from the user.
Use the NKL 001 neckloop with the Williams Sound TV Amplifier Extension Cord (#WS-WCA007WC - sold separately) to listen to a portable radio, TV or other sound source. This 13 ft cord allows you to sit at a comfortable distance away for TV listening.

Not for super power hearing users

I tried using this neck loop with my super power hearing aids. It did not work well for me when I tried to listen to music. It's a bit bulky and the cord was rather short. This product may work well for those with lesser powered hearing aids.

I've been using this Neckloop for years. It's powerful and has worked out great. The only thing about this Neckloop that is frustrating is the wire covering (insulation) hardens up over time and eventually cracks. Then it's time for another one. I've probably gone through 10 of these now. I wish they made some kind of covering that would help prevent the wire from hardening and cracking. Other than this, it's a good product.

I tried using this to work with my stethoscope but it would not work. It worked with my iPad and other electronics but since I needed it for my profession I returned it and got a different neck loop which works better. My audiologist recommended I try an adapter to get it to work but I had already returned the product.

First, the service was great; it was shipped immediately, and I got it two days later. Second, it has provided signals to my T-coil hearing aids from my laptop, and with an FM receiver at my church. I could understand every word of the sermon!

Loop didn't work for me

In the process of returning the loop as it doesn't transmit heart or breath sounds from my electronic stethoscope to my hearing aids. Audiologist wants me to try the ear hook model (devise would be closer to my hearing aids) but it is no longer available according to your website when you try to purchase. The e-mail contact listed on the return form included in the box long longer works there. Left message on voice mail but the office closed for the holidays. We'll see if I get the loop returned and charge refunded.

I had trouble hearing the DVDs on my DVD player with a headset. Not all DVDs have captioning, and even if they do, I prefer to hear than read. I can hear a lot better with the neck loop plugged in instead.
