I was looking for an auxiliary phone ringer and found this one to be the cheapest that would do what I wanted, and it has worked good for my application.

I installed this and the ringer is loud enough that my mother-in-law hasn't missed a call since. The light doesn't seem noticeable enough but that's my opinion not my mother-in-law's.
