This Sonic Alert Sonic Blink compact receiver features a built-in, high intensity strobe alert that projects light a full 360 degrees, eliminating blind spots. This strobe light is up to 8 times brighter than add-on strobes. It can even be placed behind objects such as furniture.
The Sonic Blink is perfect for places where an extra lamp may not be needed, such as in bathrooms, dining rooms, and hallways. Just plug it into a wall electrical outlet and it is ready to receive signals from Sonic Alert's doorbell, baby cry and telephone signalers. Must be used with a Sonic Alert signaler.
In order to be notified, you will need to purchase a signaler or transmitter that will activate this receiver.

I have one Sonic Blink receiver. I bought it a long time ago. The light needed to be replaced. Wonder if it can be replaced or I should buy a new one if I want to..
The strobe on the Sonic Blink I'm sorry to say is not replaceable, but if it was purchased with in the last five years it would still be under warranty with Sonic Alert and they would be able to set you up with a replacement. If you originally purchased the BL300 from us we would be able to assist with checking your purchase history to confirm.

Strobe light signaler

When I saw this, I thought the strobe light would be brighter for my new apartment, but it's not bright enough for me to see the flashing light from my kitchen, so I may have to move it to my computer desk in the kitchen area.

I like them for their bright flashes which catch my attention. However sometimes they flash for no reason at all and that can be bothersome.

We've had the Sonic Alert Traditional System for many years and love it. The Sonic Alert BL 300 strobe receivers are excellent and can be plugged into any electrical outlet. We prefer them over using lamps. The light flashes differently for different alerts (doorbell, VP, TTY). They don't last forever so recently it was time to replace everything. Just a note: These receivers must be used with the Sonic Alert Traditional System.

Used BL300 Strobe Receiver for years. Flashes differently if phone ringing or doorbell ringing, great to know difference! Only false flashes I have experienced were during power surges or if hit accidently. Great product.

They are not our first ones. We have some rooms in where we don't want to add lamps, so we use the Sonic Alert receivers in there. Very convenience.

I'm giving it five stars because it is doing what it's supposed to do. However, what "Blinker" has said about it flashes when there's no one at the door (doesn't flash when phone rings - but it does connect through my VP.) Every time it goes off, I'd ask my family if they heard the doorbell - nope. So it flashes when it's not supposed to. (Thanks goodness not at night when sleeping,)
