How do I differ between AM and PM for this clock that I ordered from Diglo? Would the alarm go off every 12 hours regardless of AM/PM?

What's nice about this clock is that it's analog, so it doesn't require any AM or PM notifier. All you need to do is confirm the time of day you're currently checking the clock in. This is used like older alarm clocks, which would require being set regularly every night or day, depending on when you need it to ring. There's no way to set it specifically for AM or PM.

I can hear it

Finally found an alarm that will wake me up. The sound (adjustable) and flashing lights wake me up. Backlight is a good nightlight too. I wear hearing aids and when I take them out I hear very little. So now I can trust I will be awakened when I need it.

I purchased this alarm clock for my 91 year-old mother who has a cochlear implant in her right ear and wears a hearing aid in her left ear. She had been complaining recently that her FIVE alarm clocks were no longer effective at getting her up in the morning and she was oversleeping. In addition, all her clocks were difficult to set and she frequently set them incorrectly. The Sonic Alert Sonic Boom was the answer to all her clock problems. It is easy to set, the alarm is loud enough to wake her and the vibration feature is a wonderful failsafe. Thanks for helping to make her life (and mine) a little easier. Just goes to show that sometimes simplicity is best!!

This alarm clock is perfect. Easy to set up. Love that I have the option with the light. As for the snooze - every four minutes really gets me up quickly. This is A+ clock for a person who doesn't like to get off the bed on time and/or a heavy sleeper.

I've gone through SEVERAL clocks made for the deaf and maybe one or two DID work well for me but only for a short time, the last one I had was a large number digital clock ordered from Diglo, the numbers finally faded out after wear and tear on the clock, I decided to go with a analog clock with the SAME features of the vibrating AND the flashing lights...WOW..what a difference this clock made for me!! Thank you SOOOO much!!!

I contacted the customer service dept. to determine which alarm clock would be best for me. Thanks Lorrie for suggesting this great clock! I appreciate the adjustable features such as the tone and volume of the alarm. Also, it's nice that you can have the back light off if you like. I haven't needed the vibration attachment, but tested it when the clock arrived--it's a great feature also.

It is the best clock I have had for hearing. Usually my dog wakes me up after my old alarm clock went off.
It has all the bells and whistles!
But, it is too bright for my room. It is all or nothing. I just need to have a quick peep at the time. Also when turning off the alarm you can change the tone and volume quite easily by accident.
But again the best one yet.

I was having a hard time hearing my alarms going off as I am very hard of hearing in one ear. My deaf friend suggested a vibrating alarm as my daughter sleeps in the same room as me. I got this alarm as it is small and with a name like "sonic Boom" I figured it must have a powerful vibration. I don't regret it!!! The alarm has woken me up every night. The flashing light hasn't woken up my daughter and the vibration is really great and powerful. If you choose to use the alarm, it goes very loud; that will definitely wake you up!! LOVE IT!!

This item is probably too modern-looking for we old folk. (Thought I'd be stuck with that silly skull.) BUT, it will shake your pillow off the bed and that's what it's supposed to do: wake you up silently. As for the light, at first I thought it'd be on all night; don't even know how I got it to light up only by touching the snooze bar. The directions were vague. Have not used its sound feature since that would wake the whole house and neighbors. As a vibration waker-upper it is A+.

This is my second one. The light went out after about 2 years on the first one and really like the night light so just purchased a new one. Otherwise the sound features are really great for the hearing impaired. Easy to set and the battery backup is great as the power goes off frequently.

This alarm clock is excellent. After losing my hearing in both ears to otoschlerosis, and with some gradual decline with age (I am only 45 though), I was having a hard time waking without assistance from my husband, especially while travelling.
This clock gets me up on time and I love it! You really appreciate a gadget like this when hearing is an issue. It is a must!

In general I like the clock.I found it easy to set up and use.The snooze button is useful, as is gives you time to turn the alarm off. My main criticism is that the lights are overdone. When all the flashing lights are on it is difficult to tell what time it is. The clock hands are almost invisible. Few flashing lights with clock hands somehow outlined would help. Also a clip on the bed shaker to attach it to the sheet would be good as it slides off the bed otherwise.Putting it under the ,mattress makes it inoperable. Also I would appreciate a slightly longer cord.
