Does this Sonic Alert alarm clock pick up the sound of a smoke/CO alarm and transmit it to the bedshaker?
The SB200SS model alarm clock is a stand alone alarm clock, it does not have any kind of additional signaling capabilities.

I tried the alarm and shaker (under my pillow) and found the alarm was just perfect by itself. I have no problem hearing the alarm; I have put the shaker back in the box, hoping I will never have to use it because my hearing would be getting worse! Thank you for the information sent by phone and US mail.

I have had this clock for many years. It is very easy to use and has been very reliable in waking me up. i put the bed shaker under my matress and it shakes the whole bed to wake me up.

Easy to set and strong vibration. Cannot be used abroad, though, because foreign current causes the time to drift by about ten minutes per hour even when using their current converter or a commercial one. One minor design problem is that both the snooze button and the alarm-off button are located on the top and so it's easy to turn the alarm off when groping for the snooze button.

Great clock when it worked. Had it less than 6 months and it quit entirely while I was on a business trip. Had to have hotel staff come in and wake me up each morning because the alarm clock completely died. I would expect more longevity than 6 months from this product.

I purchased the SB200ss and found it an excellent product at first. It gets me up and the snooze is useful. Unfortunately, the shaker quit working during the warranty period. I sent it in for repair, which was pretty hassle-free, but the shaker died once more after the warranty period expired.
This was my first of two Sonic Alert alarm clocks. I had the same experience on both. They have poor build quality. I am in the market for something that works.

This is my second alarm clock. It works great and wakes me up overtime! My last alarm clock was the same one and I used it for 8 years while traveling extensively. It's size makes it ideal for traveling and easy packing into a suitcase. I bought a second unit when the first unit broke due to rough baggage handling by the airline.

The alarm clock is loud enough to hear, the vibrating attachment works great for when I don't want to disturb anyone else, it's easy to use l, size is perfect and it has an attractive style. Very happy with it so far.
Mixed bag

First time using this type of product and experience is a mixed bag. I am getting random time/alarm set changes that cannot be explained. I tried moving the main clock, moving the bed shaker but time and other settings still change arbitrarily and I do not even have to be near it. At first, I thought it must be affecting it while I sleep somehow then discovered time and other settings change even while I am nowhere near it. It works well sometimes but I do not feel I can rely on it to wake me up on time or per the setting I make. Am seriously considering returning it before the 30-day period ends. Just getting fed up!

I had to get a new clock for college bc i wanted to leave my regular one at home. This is a nice size, doesn't take up too much space, wakes me up! One thing I hate is the fast/slow buttons. I like the hour/minute buttons on the other clocks and on this, I can't go back and change if I skipped too fast. I have to go all the way through the hours to get what I need...

I ordered this clock to have a loud alarm when I travel for business. The online ad for the clock did not provide the dimensions of the clock. I was disappointed that it was so large and chunky, and will not use it for travel as a result. However, the alarm is plenty loud for using without hearing aids.

This Clock was great to allow me go to work, or events. But one bad side that the owner manual is too small to read. I called Support @ Diglo over VP# and was quick service and explains. I download PDF manual and much better with bigger print out. :)

I like that one alarm clock as always. I recently got a new one, and one thing I dislike about is "Fast" and "Slow" button, I prefer "Hour" and "Minute" button. However the rest is pros!

This clock is small and takes up little room on my bedside table, but it is light and moves around easily. It isn't really good for a travel clock, however I don't worry about it walking me up. The clock isn't difficult to set or use. The time numbers are easily read able even across the room but being green they don't keep me awake even when facing them.

Great for two options on alarm time.
Great option to speed up on changing hours or minutes by using fast or slow buttons. But should include hour and minute buttons for changing time on each hour or minute by using fast or slow buttons.

So glad it is not so big like the regular cold and yet not too small either. Vibrates strong!!! Love the dimmer. Wish it came with a carry case tho. Would recommend who wants a trusty strong clock.

My husband loves it with vibrating speed! The only thing we dislike is "fast" and "slow" buttons. We like the hours and minutes buttons. Why did you change from hours/minutes buttons to fast/slow buttons? :-(

I recently bought the Sonic Alert travel clock for trips. About 6 months ago I purchased the full size Sonic Alert for the bedroom. Both clocks have an excellent ringer and bed shaker that can wake me from a sound sleep despite my hearing loss. The display is excellent too. I can read it during the night without my glasses.

I love the alarm clock. I can hear it without my hearing aids. I've been sleeping through my other two clocks because I can't hear them anymore. The display is nice and bright at night for me, who also wears glasses and can't see more than 8 inches away. So I'm getting excellent double use out of this alarm clock. I bought two of them so I have one for traveling. I won't be using the vibration part of it because I lived in Alaska and having the bed vibrate remindsme of earthquakes. That's too much excitement. Thank you for a wonderful product
