Would not program for channels with period

I have tried both the "learning" method and using the "B" button to program the "period" necessary for channels that require it. Contacted Weemote X and they contacted the manufacturer. No help with either! The unit "seems" to program channels with a period, but then when you utilize that programmed button, it transmits the main channel number, then toggles to the suffix number. NO period is transmitted. Very frustrating!
