I purchased this unit and the sending unit to use as a call system. Both myself and my wife are Deaf. My wife also has a mobility handicap. We use this so she can alert me if she needs assistance The receiving unit being reviewed seems to be of sturdy construction . I found it easy to program, but have no idea what "tunes" I am using. I do find that the belt clip seems too small to secure it safely Overall, satisfied with this purchase.

I bought this and the door bell transmitters so that my mother would know when someone is at the front door or needing help in the back yard. It works. However, we find the battery door is extremely difficult to open, of course my mother can't hear any of the tunes so she depends wholly on the vibration which isn't real strong. If she wears in attached to the outside of her pants, she barley feels the vibration. So she puts it inside her clothing and when it vibrates she then has to pull it out of her clothing to she which bell has been rung. We are blessed and thankful to have a unit like. No matter which room she is in, she is able to be alerted when the bells are rung.

love it. my mother is ill and need me to take care. she uses the button and helps me to know she is in need. it is worth it.
