I bought this phone for my 94 year old mother who has profound hearing loss. I was concerned how she would adapt to a new phone but it has been very easy for her. She can hear so much better with this and is so happy to have it. I am getting positive feedback from family and friends and I called her last week & it was nice not to have to shout and repeat myself during the conversation.

Happy with this purchase. It should meet the needs of my mother who is hearing impaired. Also it should "age" with her as she does not yet need the amplifier button but most likely will in the next few years. She is very happy that the buttons are white with black writing since as she has aged she has developed poor eyesight and thus has great difficulty seeing devices where the background is black and the print white. Only problem has been that I needed to buy a 15ft phone cord vs the one supplied as the location she wanted the phone was further than the fairly flimsy cord would reach.

we bought this as a Christmas present for my father in law who has lots of trouble hearing on the phone, Christmas day we used it seem to make a lot of difference in his conversations. will know more next time we see him the phone itself is very nice design and sleek looking with easy buttons for the elderly.

I bought this for my mother who is hearing and visually impaired. The phone dial pad is easier for her to use and hears well on the phone. I ordered the extra handset and the only problem with that was the batteries were bad My brother had problems trying to register the handset and found the batteries were not good.

The functionality of this phone is great especially for the vision impaired because the phone will speak back the numbers you are dialing and also tell you the number that is calling. The one minor thing I would change is the ringers. They don't have a normal sounding ringer. It's all melodic or very shrill. Many of my clients say that is the one option they wish they could change.
