I am around people with hearing difficulties. This helps them. It's comfortable for me. I wear glasses and they don't fog up. Probably because there is an air gap on each side so don't get this for 100% protection. But that is why the mask itself doesn't fog up.

My patients love that they can read my lips. If I wear these to the store after work, I almost always get stopped and asked where I got this and people are so happy to see my smile. It's kind of embarrassing, actually. The nose wire is great and these don't even fog up my glasses most of the time. The anti fog on the lip reading window does eventually give up, especially outside in the cold, but it can be wiped off if needed. Anyone complaining about the placement of the window has probably not opened the accordion folds going over the nose. They need to figure out how to use something before 1 star reviews, in my opinion. Only two things keep these from being perfect: 1. the cost and 2. the plastic makes the mask pop open on the sides of your face, so your breath leaks there. They're a great spit guard, but technically you'd have to tape the sides to your cheeks to get breath filtration. But then your breath would fog up the window even faster and words would sound more muffled, so even one of the imperfect things helps them function better in real life usage outside of a hospital or surgical environment. Oh, and I don't recommend these if you're going to be face-down in a pillow like at the chiropractor because if the plastic gets smashed against your mouth you can't breathe. But otherwise they're really really great.

I love everything about these - they're perfect for my son's needs. The only reason they don't have a 5 star review is the cost. Of course in this age and time, I could oversee this and I bought some for my son to use when he's having problems communicating with someone. He just hands him one of these he keeps with him in a bag in his pouch and he's good to go. I just wish I still had my website so I could put these on the front page for others to find.

I think it gave the clients more confidence knowing "how" things were being said, as well as "what" things were being said. I was very happy about the results.

The clear section was totally in the wrong place. The only folks this would work for are children with smaller faces. Big mistake.

I love that these are adjustable and can fit a range of head sizes (mine is very big, lol). You simply have to position the clear area in front of your mouth, and then push down the flexible metal strip over the nose to lock them in place. They have an accordian-like construction so you can move them around quite a bit. (Maybe some people have tried putting them on upside down?) I mostly wear them for work with my patients, but I've been stopped in the grocery store with people asking where I got them.
