I actually am very pleased with this product...after I mastered the understanding of the app coordinates...the initial hearing test is very specific and does a through job of establishing your hearing level in both ears,...technically different then anything I have found out there, and surprisingly easy!...at that point the hearing aspect works very well with no background whistling as long as you first select the correct ear tip. ...the blue tooth aspect is perfect. I am very much into music, but also into correcting my hearing loss, so I didn't want to compromise that aspect and the fidelity and base are excellent as buds,...so everything is as advertised, so far, a very good product, and only 4 stars because I would hope that the battery could last longer, but could live with, as I don't use them all day and just pop them back in the case to charge, (pretty quick)...perhaps something could be established during an upgrade...but I'm giving this product much more credit then some of the other unfair reviews!

Wasn't easy to set up

I was pleasently surprised by how well this device works. I recently went to dinner with family and was amazed at how well I was able to follow conversations in a noisy environment. The focus mode really worked well as I could easily follow multiple conversations at the same time. The only gripe I have pertains to the battery life along with the inability to pause music streamed by tapping on the ear bud.

These are currently the only aids serving Android. They work as advertised however the initial setup for threshold levels is very critical. Took me 3 tries to get em right on. These guys connect to what ever Bluetooth is available. I have to shut off phone Bluetooth to connect to laptop for airline movies. Connect button does take incoming calls fine. I am returning because I want Sony's new in ear canal AFTER they are compatible with Android and not just iOS. Turning 'World' off blanks about 75% of outside world. All this really depends on how well you use the correct size tip to seal your ear canal. They are just to big for 'in ear'. Time to investigate 'behind ear' but even Bose/Lexi3 is only iOS as of this day. Oh well....

These hearing aids are great for streaming music and talking on the phone, but the app that determines the settings for outside sounds doesn't seem to work well. The hearing in my left ear is somewhat worse than my right ear, but the difference is not extreme. After taking the hearing test, the volume in the left hearing aid was set extremely loud, and the volume in the right hearing aid was very low. When I turned the overall volume down, I could barely hear out of the right hearing aid, and it was much worse than my normal hearing. I emailed customer support and was told that there was no way to reduce the hearing in only one of the hearing aids. I re-took the hearing test nearly a dozen times, but the result was the same each time. I'm assuming that the app that sets the hearing aid settings doesn't work well, but I suppose the right hearing aid could be defective. In any event, I returned the hearing aids today.

Worked for 2 weeks then just stopped connecting
