What a remarkable, beautiful clock! I am incredibly impressed with the quality of the clock. All my previous alarm clocks (aka bed shakers) looked cheap. My last one from super sonic usually worked too well, at least until it got damaged by the flood. Even then, it was ridiculously clunky and horrible looking. I finally found something that not only worked well, but looked beautiful and modern. I cannot say enough about this clock. I get so excited just by looking at it. I needed a bed shaker to wake me up due to my hearing loss. It more than does its duty.

This alarm clock is far better than I had hopped for it to be. I have always had a very difficult time waking up to alarms and I have slept through many alarms that have woken people up in other rooms of the home. This alarm clock has yet to let me down or let me sleep to long.
An additional plus is that the alarm is very simple to use and extremely intuitive. I would highly recommend this product. It is well worth the money.

This products works as advertised! It beeps and vibrates the bed at the appointed time. I use to worry about not hearing my alarm clock . . . thinking I would not awaken at the appointed time. NO MORE WORRIES!
Disappointing - backlight doesn't stay on!

A clock that can't be read at night or across the room is just plain dumb. With all the features it has, they couldn't keep the backlight on? You have to reach out and touch a button for the backlight to come on, and then, for only a few seconds! Some genius thought that it would be a good idea to make it hard to read! I'm returning it.
I forgot to mention that the description is misleading because it just states that it has a backlight. It should also mention that it only comes on when you press a button, and, then, only for a few seconds. The way it is described, one is misled into thinking of the usual way clocks work - with the backlight staying on to be readable. You only find this out after you buy it! Not cool!

It vibrates, but it is not loud enough and the backlight does not stay lit. If I wake up in the middle of the night I can't see what time it is. Therefore I am returning it.

I am very happy with this alarm clock. I sleep on my better ear and was having trouble hearing a regular alarm clock. The bed shaker is much better at waking me up. The clock is generally very well designed and easy to set.

Got this for my 92 year old father who has been very worried that he wouldn't get up in time to catch the bus to the wellness center. He hasn't missed the bus yet. As the other reviewers have stated wish it did have a back light so he could see the time in the dark.

This shaker alarm was great at first but now after a couple of years' use, the shaker very seldom works. I cannot hear the alarm so I must rely on this feature. Lately, I have been oversleeping when the shaker doesn't work.
