This is my second purchase. The first one lost it's voice, wouldn't alarm. I sent it for repairs and it was lost during return by UPS. I am 91 years old and wear hearing aids which I take out at night and this is the only alarm I am able to hear. A great convenience!

The vibrating alarm clock gave my husband back some of his independence.

I originally bought a JawBone but it did not get me up in the mornings. Bought he Amplicom TCL 100 and Love It!! The wireless vibration wakes me up, and if it doesn't, the alarm or flashing lights surely will. Many thanks. G. Hartman Lynchburg, VA.

First impression. Unit is large and solid. Big numbers. Big knobs. Very simple. The only thing we needed the manual for was to know what the symbols meant for type of alarm: shake, sound, shake and sound. All the settings are self explanatory on the clock, I love that because having to read the manual every time something changes is a pain. Another bonus, it does NOT have auto time setting, our last clock had a time zone switch and would auto set itself with the time. BIG problem, it would randomly change the time and was often incorrect. Maybe because we live in rural area? This is an old fashion style set it and forget it. Great! The numbers on the face do have a glow in the dark, not a light per say, more like the underwater fish effervescent kind of glow. Bright at first and then tones down as night wears on. I kinda like it. But if you are sensitive to night lights like my deaf son you will need to put it face down so it doesn't bother you, that is what he does.
